Ugandan women are suffering from poverty and poor living conditions due to many reasons. Most of the women are illiterate and do not have a good chance for better living conditions. Many lack nutrition and are suffering from health issues. Most women can only afford to eat once per day.
SWODIA is helping these women but wants to expand their audience to increase economic opportunities. This can be done by providing training and individualized instruction in entrepreneurship, marketing techniques for small businesses, micro finance and the implementation of income-generating activities (IGAs).
